Carissimi fratelli, Gesù Maria e Giuseppe!
Con dolore, vi comunico la triste notizia condivisa dal Provinciale d’Italia, Rev. do. P. Claudio De Caro, della prematura dipartita del nostro caro confratello P. Matteo Mpampanye SDV, (51anni) avvenuta ieri primo dicembre 2020, nella struttura Covid di Agropoli (SA), in Italia. Egli risiedeva nella comunità di Perdifumo (SA) e ricopriva l’incarico di vicario nella comunità parrocchiale di S. Sisto a Perdifumo.
Domani mattina, giovedì 3 dicembre, il corpo mortale del nostro confratello, per ragioni sanitarie, sarà cremato. Le ceneri poi dal pomeriggio di giovedì sosteranno nella cappella della casa provinciale fino a venerdì alle ore 8, per chi desidera fare una visita e pregare. Poi saranno portate al cimitero di Pianura ove alle ore 9 celebriamo la santa messa esequiale. Al termine le ceneri saranno deposte nella nostra cappella del cimitero.
Preghiamo per l’anima del defunto e per la sua famiglia che, dal Congo, piange senza avere la possibilità di dargli l’ultimo saluto affinché trovi la pace nel Signore della Vita.
Approfitto di questo momento per ricordarvi che ogni sacerdote dovrà celebrare tre Sante Messe e che gli altri religiosi dovranno recitare un intero rosario in suffragio del nostro confratello defunto.

Caríssimos confrades, Jesus, Maria e José!
Com sentimentos de pêsames e solidariedade compartilho com vocês a notícia transmitida do Provincial dos Vocacionistas da Itália:
Faleceu ontem a noite, vítima de covid 19, o nosso confrade Padre Matteo Mpampanye SDV (51 anos).
O confrade se encontrava internado na estrutura covid do hospital de Agropoli (Salerno), na Itália. Padre Matteo Mpampanye era congolês, teve a formação inicial Vocacionista na Nigéria, continuando-a depois na Itália, onde foi ordenado sacerdote e onde exercia o seu ministério.
Encontrava-se ultimamente na comunidade Vocacionista de Perdifumo, no salernitano, como colaborador na Paróquia São Sixto. Os funerais seguirão as normas estabelecidas pelo sistema de saúde, consequentemente de forma reservada.
Rezemos pelo nosso confrade e pela sua família que, do Congo, chora também pelo fato de não poder dar o último adeus. Que tanto o confrade como a família sejam consolados pela paz do Senhor ressuscitado.
Recordo a todos os sacerdotes as três missas de sufrágio prescritas pelas nossas regras e aos religiosos não sacerdotes a oração do inteiro rosário na intenção do referido confrade.

Dear Confreres, Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
With sorrow, I bring to your attention the sad news shared by our Vocationist Provincial of Italy, Rev. Fr. Claudio De Caro, that our dear confrere Fr. Matteo Mpampanye SDV (51years old) expired today, December 1, 2020, in the Covid facility in Agropoli (SA) in Italy. He resided in the community of Perdifumo (SA) and held the office of the parochial vicar in the parish community of S. Sisto in Perdifumo.
Tomorrow morning, Thursday, December 3, 2020, the mortal body of our confrere will be cremated for health reasons. The ashes then from Thursday afternoon will be exposed in the chapel of the provincial house until Friday at 8 am. Then it will be taken to the cemetery in Pianura where at 9.00 am we will celebrate the funeral mass.
Let’s pray for the soul of the deceased confrere and for his family who, from Congo, are shedding tears without having the opportunity to see him for the last time.
I take this moment to remind you that each Vocationist priest will have to celebrate three Holy Masses and that the other religious will have to recite a whole rosary in suffrage for our deceased brother.

Estimados hermanos, Jesús, María y José!
Con dolor les comunico la triste noticia compartida del Provincial de Italia, Rev do. P. Claudio De Caro, de la prematura muerte de nuestro hermano P. Matteo Mampampanye SDV, (51 años) acontecida ayer primero de diciembre 2020, en la estructura Covid de Agropoli (Salerno) en Italia. Nuestro hermano vivía en la comunidad de Perdifumo (SA) y era vicario en la comunidad parroquial de S. Sixto en Perdifumo.
Oremos por el alma del difunto y por su familia que desde el Congo lloran por no tener la posibilidad de darle la Última despedida para que encuentren en el Señor de la Vida la paz; les recuerdo que cada sacerdote deberá celebrar tres santas misas y los religiosos deberán ofrecer un rosario entero en sufragio de nuestro hermano difunto.

Avec douleur, je communique la triste nouvelle partagée par le Provincial d’Italie, le Rév. P. Claudio De Caro, de la mort prématurée de notre cher confrère P. Matteo Mpampanye SDV (51 ans), qui a eu lieu hier, 1er décembre 2020, dans les locaux de Covid à Agropoli (SA), en Italie. Il résidait dans la communauté de Perdifumo (SA) et occupait le poste de vicaire dans la communauté paroissiale de S. Sisto à Perdifumo.
Nous prions pour l’âme du défunt et pour sa famille qui, du Congo, pleure sans avoir l’occasion de lui faire le dernier adieu afin qu’il trouve la paix dans le Seigneur de la Vie.
Je profite de ce moment pour vous rappeler que chaque prêtre devra célébrer trois saintes messes et que les autres religieux devront réciter un chapelet entier au suffrage pour notre confrère défunt.
